Basic DBS Checks
Suitable for any role that doesn’t qualify for a Standard or Enhanced checks. They are often used to reassure customers, if the applicant will be working in peoples’ homes, or unattended with possessions.
Fast results, usually completed in 24 hours.
Standard DBS Checks
Suitable for some roles in the financial or legal sectors, and for people working in a care setting (including NHS hospitals who have access to regular contact with Children and/or Vulnerable Adults), but not in a healthcare role.
Completed within 48 hours or quicker.
Enhanced DBS Checks
