Basic DBS Checks
Suitable for any role that doesn’t qualify for a Standard or Enhanced checks. They are often used to reassure customers, if the applicant will be working in peoples’ homes, or unattended with possessions.

Standard DBS Checks
Suitable for some roles in the financial or legal sectors, and for people working in a care setting (including NHS hospitals who have access to regular contact with Children and/or Vulnerable Adults), but not in a healthcare role.
Completed within 48 hours or quicker.
Enhanced DBS Checks
These are for positions included in the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 & the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records) regulations, e.g. Healthcare Staff and Teachers. Eligibility can be tricky to establish, but we’re here to help!
